BACKPACKER
This award recognizes those persons who have earned a long-
term backpacking award and have performed LAAC-HAT
approved conservation work in the same calendar year.
Requirements:
1. Earn a long-term backpacking award (5 or more days).
2. Earn a Conservation Award that requires at least 12 hours
of LAAC-HAT approved effort in the same calendar year
as the long-term backpack award is earned
This award may be worn as a temporary patch, on the Scout
shirt. The Backpacker Award Application is to be used to
obtain this award.
